Mikasa SBV Youth Beach Volleyball

The new SBV Youth beach volleyball from Mikasa is the perfect introduction to beach volleyball.

The weight-reduced ball (210-230g) has been specially developed to make it easier for children and young people to get started in the sport of beach volleyball and to bring fun and enjoyment to ball handling.

The supersoft foam (EVA) of the ball's surface makes the beach volleyball particularly soft, ideal for children to overcome their fear of direct contact with the ball. EVA foam is characterized by its low weight, excellent shape retention, and exceptional grip. The ball has a slower flight pattern overall, which makes it easier to receive the ball and promotes accurate passing. This allows for much faster learning and is ideal for beginners.

In terms of construction and design, the SBV Youth appears similar to the Beach Champ VLS 300, the official match ball of the FIVB and many other national and regional associations.
